Plymouth is a town in Sheboygan County, Wisconsin. The population was 3,115 at the time of the 2000 census. It is included in the Sheboygan, Wisconsin Metropolitan Statistical Area. The City of Plymouth is located within the town, but is politically independent. The unincorporated community of New Paris is also located in the town.
Plymouth is located along State Highways 57, 67 and 23. Rail access is provided by the Wisconsin and Southern Railway Company (WSOR). Sheboygan County Memorial Airport (KSBM) is seven miles away. Plymouth is located less than an hour drive from Milwaukee and Green Bay.
The Garton Toy Company was founded by Eusebius Bassingdale in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Garton manufactures sleds, scooters, pedal cars, tricycles, and coaster wagons. [2] Part or all of the building the Garton Toy Company was housed in was designed by architect William C. Weeks. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.
