Mary Anne Creed is the wife and later widow of Apollo Creed. In Creed, she adopts Adonis "Donnie" Johnson, who is Apollo's illegitimate son, in 1998. In 2015, she discovers that Donnie has quit a lucrative job at a securities firm to follow his father's footsteps as a boxer, much to her dismay.
