The V9X is a common rail 65 degree V6 24-valve DOHC turbo-diesel developed by the Renault-Nissan Alliance, and first installed in the Renault Laguna in 2009. It was subsequently made available for both longitudinal-engine vehicles including Nissan Pathfinder, Nissan Navara, Infiniti FX, Infiniti EX, and Infiniti M and transverse-engine vehicles including Renault Latitude and Laguna Coupé.

The Nissan TD series is a series of diesel engines manufactured by Nissan. All TD-series engines are inline engines ; most versions are four-cylinders aside from the six-cylinder TD42. They have cast iron blocks and crossflow heads ; the combustion chamber design is a swirl-chamber design with indirect injection and a gear driven cam. [ 1 ]

The common rail engines are used in the D40 Navara, late model D22 Navara and the R51 Pathfinder. YD25DDTi High Power was developed in 2005 for the Nissan Navara (D40) and the Nissan Pathfinder (R51). It initially produced 128 kW (174 PS; 172 hp) at 4,000 rpm and 41.1 kg⋅m (403 N⋅m; 297 lb⋅ft) of torque.
The Nissan Frontier is a nameplate used by Nissan in several regions as an alternative to the Navara and NP300 nameplates. In North America, the nameplate was used from 1997 to 2021, replacing the Hardbody. Since 2021, the Frontier sold in the US and Canada has been a separate model distinct from the globally marketed Navara/Frontier.
The CR engine is a 1.0 L (997 cc), 1.2 L (1,240 cc) or 1.4 L (1,386 cc) straight-4 piston engine from Nissan's Aichi Kikai division [1] in Japan. It is an aluminum DOHC 16-valve design. The CR14DE also features Variable Valve Timing on the inlet camshaft.
There have been two main versions of this engine. The first version made 187 hp (139 kW) and 145 lb⋅ft (197 N⋅m) torque. This engine was used by Nissan from 1997 to 2001. It is found in the Nissan Primera, Nissan Bluebird, and the Nissan Wingroad. The second variant of the SR20VE is found only in the 2001 and later P12 Nissan Primera.
