Vincent Memorial was established in 1949 as Our Lady of Guadalupe Academy, (OLGA) an all-girls school. High School moved, to its present location in 1966, became coeducational, and was renamed Jean B. Vincent Memorial High School (who was a priest who served the parish of Guadalupe in Calexico for many years, and also the nuns and students of that school).

These boys and girls carried the hopes and best wishes of many people as they attended classes in a three room division of St. Charles School across the street from what would be the future campus. In 2002, the Diocese of San Diego decided to upgrade all of its secondary campuses. A new site in Chula Vista was chosen and a new school was built.
St. Vincent Ferrer, one of the oldest schools in Solano County, is established as the Catholic Free School in Vallejo, California. Its first diplomas were received in 1880. It was co-educational until 1968 when the campus was split between St. Vincent's (all girls) and St. Patrick's (all boys).

Founded in 1882, OLP is the oldest high school in San Diego. The school was actually co-ed until the late 1890s, when it became a women-only school. Its popularity grew, and in 1925 the Sisters of St. Joseph purchased the Vandruff Estate, built in 1916 and called Villa Montemar, [ 6 ] in what is now San Diego 's North Park area.
