In the United States, the Next Generation Science Standards makes experiencing the practices of science and engineering one of the three pillars of science education.
The New York City Science and Engineering Fair (NYCSEF) is an annual science fair contested by around 700 high school students from Queens, Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn and Staten Island, [1] [2] [3] making it the largest high school research competition in New York City.
