McAlister Square is an American repositioned shopping mall in Greenville, South Carolina. It is notable for being the first enclosed shopping center in South Carolina, [1] and the largest shopping center in the state at the time it was built. It is now a hybrid property, with the largest tenant being the University Center of Greenville.
The Magnolia Park Town Center was originally built as the Greenville Mall, in planning as early as 1974 when Montgomery Ward was secured as its first anchor. [1] In 1976, J. B. White was secured as a second anchor, along with the mall as a whole being announced with a planned 78 stores. [1]
Cedar Falls Park is a 90-acre (36 ha) recreation area in Upstate South Carolina where the Reedy River widens to 200 feet (61 m), cascading over rocks and boulders. The park is maintained by Greenville County Parks, Recreation, and Tourism.

It replaced Greenville's outdated and under-repaired Greenville Memorial Auditorium—located across the street from the new arena—imploded on September 20, 1997. [4] The arena naming rights were purchased by Dutch grocer Ahold , then-owner of BI-LO , which had been founded in nearby Mauldin and was still based there at the time.
Magnolia Mall is a shopping mall in Florence, South Carolina, near I-95. It is owned by PREIT. The mall opened in 1979, and underwent a renovation in 2008. It underwent a further renovation in 2019, adding H&M, Five Below, and Burlington. [3] Other major stores at the mall are Best Buy, Belk, Dick's Sporting Goods, and Tilt Studios.

Falls Park on the Reedy is a 32-acre (130,000 m 2) park adjacent to downtown Greenville, South Carolina, in the historic West End district. Considered the birthplace of Greenville, the park was founded in 1967 when the Carolina Foothills Garden Club reclaimed 26 acres (110,000 m 2 ) of land that had been previously used by textile mills .
