Epic: The Musical (stylized as EPIC) is a nine-part series of concept albums (referred to as "sagas") with music and lyrics by Jorge Rivera-Herrans. A sung-through adaptation of Homer's Odyssey inspired by musical theater, it tells the story of Odysseus as he tries to return from Troy to Ithaca after the ten-year-long Trojan War.
Being between Scylla and Charybdis is an idiom deriving from Greek mythology, which has been associated with the proverbial advice "to choose the lesser of two evils". [1] Several other idioms such as " on the horns of a dilemma ", "between the devil and the deep blue sea", and "between a rock and a hard place" express similar meanings. [ 2 ]
Charybdis aided her father Poseidon in his feud with her paternal uncle Zeus and, as such, helped him engulf lands and islands in water. Zeus, angry over the land she stole from him, sent her to the bottom of the sea with a thunderbolt; from the sea bed, she drank the water from the sea thrice a day, creating whirlpools.

Jorge B. Rivera (1935–2004) [1] was an Argentine poet, essayist, critic, journalist and researcher on issues of history and popular culture. [2] He was born in Buenos Aires in 1935 and died on August 27, 2004. He is considered a pioneer in research in mass communication in Argentina.

La Gran Señora and La Gran Señora en Vivo both garnered Latin Grammy nominations in the Regional Mexican category and went platinum in Mexico and the United States. [ 17 ]

[2] It was discovered by French astronomer Auguste Charlois at the Nice Observatory on 7 March 1894.
