The Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA; French: Autorité aéroportuaire du Grand Toronto) is a Canadian non-profit organization that operates Toronto Pearson International Airport in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. As of May 2024, the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) contains seven airports, eight heliports, and one water aerodrome. [2] [3] These aviation facilities are situated within and around Toronto and its neighbouring cities, serving airline passengers, regional air travel and commercial cargo transportation.
The Authority also operates CFYZ, a radio station which broadcasts tourist and flight schedule information from the airport. The CFYZ sentence has been deleted from the article. The station was decommissioned sometime in 2005. The station is still broadcasting, it's just automated. I've restored the sentence.
