Seal Beach is a coastal city in Orange County, California, United States. As of the 2020 census, the population was 25,242, up from 24,168 at the 2010 census. Seal Beach is located in the westernmost corner of Orange County. To the northwest, just across the border with Los Angeles County, lies the city of Long Beach and the adjacent San Pedro Bay.
The Anderson Street Water Tower, also known as the Water Tower House, Sunset Beach Water Tower, or Pacific Coast Highway Water Tower, is a historic 87 ft (27 m) water tower in Seal Beach, California. Built in 1892, the redwood and fir structure has since been converted into a house.
The Seal Beach City Council designated the theater as a historical landmark in September 2016. [5] The theater is mentioned in an unauthorized biography of Steven Spielberg as being his favorite place to see foreign movies while he was enrolled at nearby Cal State Long Beach in the mid-1960s. [6]
