Catan Dice Game is a German-style board game, developed by Klaus Teuber and published in 2007 by Catan GmbH and its licensors, Kosmos in Germany and Catan Studio in English-speaking countries. It is a dice game re-imagining of Teuber's most notable title, Settlers of Catan .
Several trading ports are also spread across the board, meant to represent the Great Sea on the western side of the board and the coast of the Sea of Galilee which is surrounded by land hexes. [1] In Settlers of Canaan, the robber tile of Catan is replaced by the "plague" tile. The tiles work the same way, which is to stop any production on a hex.
Like Catan, Zarahemla uses a somewhat modular board structure, but instead of individual hexes (as is the case of Catan), Zarahemla uses five strips of hexes - one five-hex strip, two four-hex strips, and three-hex strips, which could be oriented and rearranged as in the standard game. These strips of hexes are double–sided.
