The name "parabola" is due to Apollonius, who discovered many properties of conic sections. It means "application", referring to "application of areas" concept, that has a connection with this curve, as Apollonius had proved. [1] The focus–directrix property of the parabola and other conic sections was mentioned in the works of Pappus.

Internet Explorer 11 (IE11) is the eleventh and final version of the Internet Explorer web browser. It was initially included in the release of Windows 8.1 , Windows RT 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2 on October 17, 2013, and was later released for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 on November 7, 2013.
Windows 11 only supports 64-bit systems such as those using an x86-64 or ARM64 processor; IA-32 and ARM32 processors are no longer supported. [129] Thus, Windows 11 is the first consumer version of Windows not to support 32-bit processors (although Windows Server 2008 R2 is the first version of Windows Server to not support them).
Important classes of convex polyhedra include the family of prismatoid, the Platonic solids, the Archimedean solids and their duals the Catalan solids, and the regular polygonal faces polyhedron. The prismatoids are the polyhedron whose vertices lie on two parallel planes and their faces are likely to be trapezoids and triangles. [ 18 ]
