Balada Shalawat (Ballad of Salah) is an Islamic religious album released in 2010 by Gita Gutawa. It was arranged, orchestrated and produced by Erwin Gutawa and published by Sony Music Indonesia. Written as a way to "bring people to pray and praise Allah", the album included two new songs and six covers or rearrangements.

Dangdut is a popular semitraditional music genre of Indonesia which is partly derived of Indian, Arabic, and Malay music in the late 1960s in Jakarta city. It consists of melodious and harmonical music with the main tabla as the percussion beat especially in the classical dangdut versions.
Orkes Melayu singer Ellya Khadam switched to dangdut in the 1970s, and by 1972, she was the number-one artist in Indonesia. Her success, along with that of Rhoma Irama, meant that by 1975, 75 per cent of all recorded music in Indonesia was of the dangdut genre, with pop bands such as Koes Plus adopting the style. Liga Dangdut Indonesia employs a panel of vocal and fashion judges who criticize the contestants' performances. This show received a world record from the Indonesian World Records Museum as "The talent search program with the most participants and from the most provinces". [3]
Siti Badriah (born 11 November 1991), [1] also known by her alias Sibad, is an Indonesian singer, songwriter, actress, and dancer.She became internationally well known in 2018 due to the popularity of her song Lagi Syantik, which has since gained over 500 million views on the popular streaming site YouTube.
She started her career as a jazz singer, but joined Sani Music Indonesia in mid 2014 as a dangdut singer. Her single "Kalimera Athena" was written by Doel Sumbang. Citata released the single "Sakitnya Tuh Disini" because of a breakup with Gemilang (familiarly called Shahmi). [2] In a few weeks, the song topped various radio stations in Indonesia.
