M.P. Abdussamad Samadani (born 1 January 1959) is an Indian politician, orator, writer and scholar. He knows Malayalam, English, Urdu, Hindi, Arabic, Persian and Sanskrit languages. [ 2 ] Samadani was awarded Doctor of Philosophy degree from Jawaharlal Nehru University , New Delhi.
The party currently has five members in Parliament - E. T. Mohammed Basheer, M. P. Abdussamad Samadani and Kani K. Navas in the Lok Sabha and P. V. Abdul Wahab and Adv. Haris Beeran [11] in the Rajya Sabha - and fifteen members in Kerala State Legislative Assembly.
Malappuram Lok Sabha Constituency went for bypoll on 6 April 2021 along with the 2021 Kerala Legislative Assembly Election. On May 2, the results were announced along with the results of the Legislative Assembly Elections. Former Rajya Sabha MP Abdussamad Samadani won the election by a margin of 1,14,615 votes.
