Accra Academy is a boys' high school located at Bubuashie near Kaneshie in the Greater Accra Region, Ghana.It admits both boarding and day students. Founded as a private school in 1931, it gained the status of a Government-Assisted School in 1950.

Vincent Freeman was born on 25 December 1936 at Winneba in the Central Region of Ghana. His parents were Thomas Birch Freeman and Akosua Odey. [3]Freeman had his middle school education at Presbyterian Boys Day School in Osu from April 1951 to December 1952. [3]
