Marcus Barkan [1] (July 4, 1934 – May 8, 2020) was an American songwriter and record producer.He was also a musical director for the television show The Banana Splits Adventure Hour, which aired between September 7, 1968, and September 5, 1970, lasting two seasons, on NBC.
Born in Springfield, Massachusetts, Winkless's family moved to Chicago's North Shore and Terence went to the well-known New Trier High School in Winnetka, Illinois.His family then moved to Los Angeles to work on The Banana Splits Adventure Hour, on which he and his brothers played three of the four title characters, and their father wrote the theme song.
