The Vallejo Admirals baseball team sits atop a float for the 4th of July parade in 2014. The Admirals began play as a charter member of the four-team Pacific Association of Professional Baseball Clubs, along with the Hawaii Stars, Na Koa Ikaika Maui, and San Rafael Pacifics, former members of the now-defunct North American League.

The Vallejo Admirals entered the season as defending champions, having defeated the Sonoma Stompers 11–8 in the league's 2017 championship game. [ 2 ] The playoffs concluded on September 2, with the San Rafael Pacifics defeating the Sonoma Stompers 6–0 in the championship game, winning their third Pacific Association championship.
In November of 2023, commissioner Andrew Dunn announced Christian Carmouche as the clubs manager. The Seaweed were the first team professional baseball team since the Vallejo Admirals of the Pacific Association. After relocating, the Seaweed played their home games at Wilson Park in Vallejo, California. [5]
