Penn Park is a 24-acre (97,000 m 2) park on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.The park is at South 31st Street and Walnut Street, and features two athletic fields, a multipurpose stadium with 470 seats, a tennis center, a seasonal air structure, and picnic areas.
Penn Center is the heart of Philadelphia's central business district.It takes its name from the nearly five million square foot office and retail complex it contains. It lies between 15th and 19th Streets, and between John F. Kennedy Boulevard and Market Street.
It was known to be a pitchers' ballpark. Bower was 330 feet down the line in left field, 340 feet down the line to right, 410 feet to dead-center, and had a 25-foot high fence extending from left-center to right-center.
