Gilgamesh still has to be slower than UBW Shirou because he defeated him in hand-to-hand combat, Shirou stated that he would lose to any other of the servants. Scaling Gil or Artoria, that high will do more harm than good to the consistency of the verse IMO as they fight human oponents from time to time.
So. In-character, Gilgamesh can never lose this fight. Ever. With speed equalized, Goku cannot blitz Gilgamesh, and Gilgamesh's infinite armory is enormously powerful. The weapons it produces are all magic as well, and Dragonball characters have shown very low resistance if any at all to magic. Thus, the weapons can most definitely hurt Goku ...

How much people enjoy it as writing might depend a lot on the translation - but some are really good. What I think is remarkable is the degree to which the Epic touches on almost every enduring theme of literature - the contrasts between the human, the bestial and the divine; the politics of leadership and governance; human arrogance and humility; sex (and how it somehow straddles both our ...
Gilgamesh is the semi-mythic King of Uruk in Mesopotamia best known from The Epic of Gilgamesh (written c. 2150 - 1400 BCE) the great Sumerian /Babylonian poetic work which pre-dates Homer 's writing by 1500 years and, therefore, stands as the oldest piece of epic world literature.
Enkidu's Enuma Elish drew energy from the planet, but both his and Gilgamesh's Enuma Elish are clearly Anti-World, in that they affect the layer of reality. Gil tears it apart, Enkidu repairs it. It's not Anti-Planet. Something like might be possible for the original God who created and used Ea, but so far Gil and Enkidu have only affected the ...
As we know, Gilgamesh in its transformed form (pre-Genesis Mystic Code) can live in 5-D to 7-D possibilities. Gilgamesh becomes weaker at the start of Fate / Extra CCC, however, partly due to a long sleep on the Far Side, but almost entirely from making a contract with an incompetent Master who has lost all his memories.
I highly recommend playing the Gilgamesh route of Fate/Extra CCC before passing judgement on Archer Gil. CCC was basically the first Fate media where Gilgamesh was in a major non-antagonistic role and his character arc in that game was just beautiful. It's the first time Fate actually delved deep into his character and lore.
The Gilgamesh we see in Babylonia was 100% alive even if he was past his prime, and Kingu should be stronger than alive Enkidu when he has the grial, even Gilgamesh says something like "that is the true Chain of the Havens" when Kingu is going Enuma Elish on Tiamat.
Bro I came to these comments to expect the obvious on Gilgamesh claps And I get brainlets who think Goku solos cause he can destroy the milky way like Gilgamesh can't destroy the entire universe in seconds with one weapon That isn't even using his god slaying weapons either Goku doesn't stand a chance
