Alpine School District is the primary school district in northern Utah County, Utah, United States. The district was founded in 1915, and includes all grades from kindergarten through high school ( K-12 ).
There were several mercantile businesses in American Fork, such as the American Fork Co-operative Association and Chipman Mercantile. For several decades in the 1900s, raising chickens (and eggs) was an important industry in the city. In 1892, Joseph Forbes organized the schools in American Fork, and the Forbes school is named after him. [10]

The Utah State Charter School Board placed the school in warning status in 2013 and on turnaround in 2015. [5] [6] In 2016 the state gave it an F grade, [7] but in June 2017 the Charter School Board reduced the school's warning and probation status. [8] By November 2017 the state assigned the school a C grade. [9]
Lone Peak High School (LPHS) is a public high school in Highland, Utah, United States. Part of the Alpine School District, in northern Utah County, it was built in 1997 to serve students in the cities of Alpine, Highland, and Cedar Hills. Lone Peak High School was given athletic 5A status beginning at the 2005-2006 school year.
