Puritan Board Freshman. Apr 19, 2012. #5. I live in Denver and have first hand experience with Denver Seminary. 4. What of Gateway Seminary? - The Puritan Board

Gateway Seminary is in the Denver area. I'll blame it on my age. I didn't know that "Gateway" was the current name for "Golden Gate" of which I was aware. I really haven't heard much about it one way or the other since Dr. Pollard left. At that time I don't recall it being identified with the Reformed movement.

Denver Seminary I'm planning to go to seminary next year, and I've been applying to Westminster Seminary California and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. WSC is cheap, reformed, teaches theology thoroughly, and close to home for me (the LA area), but it is a small campus with a rather inflexible curriculum...

Puritan Board Freshman. For starters, I'm not presently in a position to actually go to seminary due to family and work obligations. I might be able to do it in the future, thus this thread. I'm not really asking about the financial aspect at this point. My first obligation will always be to provide for my wife and children.

Puritan Board Senior. Jan 14, 2012. #3. Well Psalm 119:9 contradicts the doctrine of Original Sin by implying our way is pure instead of in need of purifying. Mark 1:2 is wrong by attributing the passage from Malachi and Isaiah only to Isaiah. Proverbs 8:22 teaches that Jesus, the embodiment of God's wisdom, was created.

  10. What makes a seminary liberal? - The Puritan Board

Puritan Board Junior. Feb 27, 2013. #4. I would say that one of the best ways to expound expound upon what Bob points to would be The Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy. To the extent that a seminary's official documents and discipline of professors veers from that, they are moving towards liberalism.

  11. Leaving Career for Seminary - Supporting a Family of 5

    www.puritanboard.com/threads/leaving-career-for-seminary-supporting-a-family...

The seminaries I'm looking at are Westminster California, Southwestern in Fortworth, Midwestern in Kansas City. Westminster would be the hardest option in terms of finding a place to live (CA. is expensive, that is where we currently live). Midwestern and Southwestern are in areas where housing for a family of five is very affordable.
