"I'll Never Find Another You" is a 1964 single by the Australian folk-influenced pop group the Seekers, which reached No. 1 in the United Kingdom in February 1965. [2] It was The Seekers' first UK-released single, [ 2 ] and the second-best-selling of 1965 in the UK. [ 3 ]
With "I'll Never Find Another You" and "Georgy Girl", the group also achieved success in the United States, but not nearly at the same level as in the rest of the world. The Seekers have sold over 50 million records worldwide and were individually honoured as Officers of the Order of Australia in the Queen's Birthday Honours of June 2014. [3]
Reviewing for Disc, Don Nicholl described "I'd Never Find Another You" as "a rather graceful ballad with a beat in it, the song is sung simply and warmly by Fury to a catchy accompaniment". "Georgy Girl" is a song by the Australian pop/folk music group the Seekers. It was used as the title song for the 1966 British romantic comedy film Georgy Girl. Tom Springfield, who had written "I'll Never Find Another You" for the Seekers, composed the music and Jim Dale supplied the lyrics.
