Carmel Monon Depot, also known as Monon Depot Museum, is a historic train station located at Carmel, Hamilton County, Indiana. It was built in 1883 by the Monon Railroad, and is a one-story, rectangular frame building measuring 45 by 18 feet (13.7 by 5.5 m). It has a gable roof with wide overhanging eaves.

Carmel (/ ˈ k ɑːr m ə l /) is a suburban city in Hamilton County, Indiana, United States, immediately north of Indianapolis. With a population of 99,757 as of the 2020 census , the city spans 49 square miles (130 km 2 ) across Clay Township and is bordered by the White River to the east and the Boone County line to the west.
Marion County, the location of the state capital of Indianapolis, has the most NHLs (9), followed by Bartholomew County (7), and Jefferson County (4). Twenty counties have one, while the other 69 counties of Indiana have none. Indiana's first NHL was designated on October 9, 1960.
