Moscow State University (MSU), officially M. V. Lomonosov Moscow State University, [a] is a public research university in Moscow, Russia. [3] The university includes 15 research institutes, 43 faculties, more than 300 departments, and six branches. Alumni of the university include past leaders of the Soviet Union and other governments.
In 1949, the Ministry of Higher Education of the USSR established a scholarship named after Ivan Fedorov for students MPI. At the same time in connection with the dissolution of Ogiz MPI over by the Glavpoligrafizdata USSR. In 1993, the MPI was transformed into the Moscow State Academy of Printing (MSAP).
It was opened on 2 March 1919, and its first rector was Dmitry Bogolepov – the Moscow State University graduate, the Deputy People's Finance Commissar of RSFSR. In September 1946, the institute was consolidated with Moscow Credit-Economic Institute training students since 1931.
