If one is half-Jewish (or half-black) where are they solely Italian-American? They aren't. If the mother is Jewish by Jewish law would be considered Jewish. And in the black sense they would be first and foremost considered mulatto in their own community. I don't see any Caucasian Italian-American viewing them the same.
