"The One for You" is a song written by Swedish guitarist Danne Larsson and recorded by his group Tages in 1965. Following an intensive tour of the Sweden, while also previously having composed songs for the band, Larsson wrote the song inspired by their trip to London, allegedly about a girl he had met there.
The track was recorded with the help of one million fans around the world through a special online app, and American singer Ariana Grande also recorded a demo for the song. The song is included as a bonus track on the Japanese edition of Larsson's second studio album So Good (2017).
It featured Lipa's singles "New Love" (2015) and "Last Dance" (2016), as well as the "Be the One" remix by With You and a Max + Johann remix of the song.
