Clinton Township is one of five townships in Vermillion County, Indiana, United States. As of the 2020 census, its population was 8,884 (down from 9,119 at 2010 [ 3 ] ) and it contained 4,226 housing units.
The smaller town of Fairview Park is adjacent to Clinton on the north side of the city. According to the United States Census Bureau, Clinton has a total area of 2.259 square miles (5.85 km 2), of which 2.24 square miles (5.80 km 2) (or 99.16%) is land and 0.019 square miles (0.05 km 2) (or 0.84%) is water. Clinton High School was a public school in Clinton serving students in grades 7 through 12. It was created in 1886 and then from the consolidation in 1961 of former high schools in southern Vermillion County, Indiana, Dana High School, Hillsdale High School, St. Bernice High School, and Blanford High School.
