Conrad Weiser (November 2, 1696 – July 13, 1760), born Johann Conrad Weiser, Jr., was a Pennsylvania Dutch pioneer who served as an interpreter and diplomat between the Pennsylvania Colony and Native American nations. Primarily a farmer, he also worked as a tanner, and later served as a soldier and judge.
In 1948 it took over the former Weiser Academy/Intermountain Institute, a boarding school with 750-acre (300 ha) of land. According to The Idaho Statesman, this meant that it was the sole high school in the state with a large property. [9] In 1958, there were 46 students at Weiser High who lived in the Annex and Jefferson school districts. [10]
