A light novel series, titled My Hero Academia: School Briefs (僕のヒーローアカデミア 雄英白書, Boku no Hīrō Akademia Yūei Hakusho), written by Anri Yoshi, was released by Shueisha under its Jump J-Books imprint. It centers on Izuku Midoriya and his classmates of U.A. High in everyday school lives.
In the series, U.A. High School (雄英高校, Yūei Kōkō) is a top-ranked academy for training heroes. The school is located atop a forested hill in fictional Musutafu, Japan. There are four academic tracks, or courses, available to students: Hero, General, Support, and Management.

The University of Alabama was founded in 1831 in Tuscaloosa and is the state of Alabama's oldest public university. In 1936, UA established an extension center in Birmingham, and the University of Alabama School of Medicine moved there in the same year. In 1950, another extension center was set up in Huntsville.
