Fake news websites are those which intentionally, but not necessarily solely, publish hoaxes and disinformation for purposes other than news satire. Unsolicited Bulk Email (Spam) AOL protects its users by strictly limiting who can bulk send email to its users. Info about AOL's spam policy, including the ability to report abuse and resources for email senders who are being blocked by AOL, can be found by going to the Postmaster info page .
If you get a message that seems like it's from AOL, but it doesn't have those 2 indicators, and it isn't alternatively marked as AOL Certified Mail, it might be a fake email. Make sure you immediately mark it as spam and don't click on any links in the email.
