Watch Dogs (stylized as WATCH_DOGS) is an action-adventure video game franchise published by Ubisoft, and developed primarily by its Montreal and Toronto studios using the Disrupt game engine. [1] The series' eponymous first title was released in 2014, and it has featured three games in total, the most recent being 2020's Watch Dogs: Legion .
Players can view descriptive backgrounds of pedestrians with the in-game smartphone. Watch Dogs is an action-adventure game, played from a third-person view.The player controls hacker Aiden Pearce, who uses his smartphone to control trains and traffic lights, infiltrate security systems, jam cellphones, access pedestrians' private information, and empty their bank accounts.
Watch Dogs: Legion is an action-adventure game played from a third-person perspective, and taking place within an open world setting based upon London, which can be explored either on foot─utilizing parkour moves─vehicles, or fast-travelling via the city's Underground stations.
Similar to its predecessor, Watch Dogs 2 is an action-adventure game with stealth elements [2] and played from a third-person perspective as Marcus Holloway, a young hacker.The game features an open world set in a fictionalized version of the San Francisco Bay Area, [3] [4] an area more than twice as large as the Chicagoland setting from Watch Dogs. [5]

Tidis – 2020 video game Watch Dogs: Legion. Union Street – featured in the 2008 film The Escapist and filmed on location in Holborn tramway station. Altered versions of Harry Beck's 1941 map were produced for the film, showing the station located between Borough and Elephant & Castle, close to the position of London's real Union Street. [5] [6]
