Brenda Ann Spencer (born April 3, 1962) was born to Dorothy Nadine (née Hobel) and Wallace Edward Spencer, who married on December 12, 1954, in Chula Vista and had three children, Brenda being the youngest. After Dorothy found out her husband had been cheating on her with multiple women, she filed for divorce in January 1972.
