The Volvo XC60 is a compact luxury crossover SUV manufactured and marketed by Swedish automaker Volvo Cars since 2008. The XC60 is part of Volvo's 60 Series of automobiles, along with the S60, S60 Cross Country, V60, and V60 Cross Country. The first generation model introduced a new style for the 60 Series models.

An evolution of the company's long-used straight-five Volvo Modular engine, which itself is an evolution of the Volvo B6304 straight-six engine, the SI6 can be mounted transversely for front wheel drive or all wheel drive applications.
