It was reported by Billboard in the magazine's September 19, 1970 issue that former Juan y Junior member Juan Pardo, a Novola artist had made his first concert appearance as a solo artist. [5] In December 1974, Pardo had "Conversasiones Conmigo Mism" on the Latin Hit Parade chart in Spain and "Mr. Guitarra" on the Venezuela chart.
He also recorded works outside the world of popular music. He composed the original music for the first Spanish Musical "La Maja de Goya", and music for cinema and ballet. In 2000, he reformed Los Brincos for an extremely successful special concert in A Coruña, and also recorded with a reformed Barrabás.
