Parts of Les Preludes were used as background music during scene changes in the 1940s radio series The Lone Ranger. The music is used for the intro and outro of the Tom and Jerry episode Tom and Jerry in the Hollywood Bowl. Les Preludes is used throughout Juzo Itami's "ramen western" film Tampopo.
