Springside was the estate of Matthew Vassar in Poughkeepsie, New York, United States. It is located on Academy Street just off US 9 . Detailed plans for a landscape, villa, and complex of farm buildings were drawn up by the influential Andrew Jackson Downing with assistance of Calvert Vaux prior to the former's death.

It is a few blocks from US 9, just northeast of Springside, Matthew Vassar's never-completed estate that is now a National Historic Landmark. Its 140 acres (56 ha) contain 46 buildings, mostly houses, in a variety of 19th and early 20th-century architectural styles. It was the first planned neighborhood in the city. [1]
Gregory House, is a historic home located at 140 South Cherry Street in Poughkeepsie, Dutchess County, New York. It was built about 1869, is a 2 + 1 ⁄ 2-story, Second Empire-style dwelling. It features a bellcast mansard roof. [2] On November 26, 1982, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places. [1]
Church Street Row is a group of nine residential buildings along the south side of Church Street (US 44/NY 55) between Academy and Hamilton streets in Poughkeepsie, New York, United States. They were added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. They were built during the years from 1855 to 1895.
