Arthur and Buster trick Mr. Ratburn into recording himself reading a book for young children, which they then edit over a manipulated photo of him dressed as a hippie. Francine delivers the video to Patty, who laughs it off to the kids' surprise. Arthur and Francine initiate a plan to connect Mr. Ratburn with the town's librarian, Ms. Turner.
The PBS website for Arthur seems to designate Arthur, DW, Pal, Francine, Sue Ellen, Buster, Binky, Fern, George, Brain, Muffy and the Twins as the series' "main characters" as they are (or were) usually the subjects of most episodes. Next, I would suggest merging the Buster and Ratburn articles back into this list.
2006 was marked as a 10-year milestone for the TV series Arthur and a 30-year milestone of the book series by Marc Brown. In celebration, a contest was run on the Arthur website called "Crazy 10's Scavenger Hunt", where viewers would search for hidden "10"s on the season's episodes for a chance to win a prize.
Arthur eventually becomes aggressively concerned about Francine's safety and tries to save her, which touches Francine when she finds out, and they make up. Later, the Reads and the Frenskys soon come to pick them up, and the duo does a report about acts of heroism at school the next day, impressing Mr. Ratburn.
Arthur is able to go backstage due to Mr. Read catering the concert, and worries that if he invites his friends, it will interfere with him befriending the band. He changes his mind and lets them come, thinking that it would be more fun to go with his friends. However, Arthur learns that BINKY is actually a group of holograms and is not real.
