Mahindra University is an Indian private university located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, founded by Mahindra Group. [ 1 ] [ 2 ] [ 3 ] Mahindra University is sponsored by Mahindra Educational Institutions (MEI), a subsidiary of Tech Mahindra , an IT MNC under the Mahindra Group .
The college is known for its support to students from all classes of the society. Scholarships and other monetary supports are offered to students in need. The fee structure of the college is determined as per the Anna University-decided fee system. Special support and encouragement are given to students who excel in academics.
The opening of the school was made possible by a donation of land and building infrastructure by Harish Mahindra, of the Mahindra Group. [4] The company and several members of the family remain involved with the college, with Keshub Mahindra serving as chair of the college, and the company continuing to fund student scholarships.
