Calvin Vollrath (born 16 May 1960) is a Canadian fiddler and composer and is one of the few European-Canadian fiddle players playing professionally in the Métis style. [1] He lives in St. Paul, Alberta. Vollrath won the Grand North American Old Time Fiddle Championship in 1985 and 1998.

[1] Vollrath was born on September 19, 1824 [2] in Dörrebach in the Prussian Rhineland, [3] where he learned the trade of molding (casting of wrought iron).
