Fireflight is an American Christian rock band formed in Eustis, Florida, in 1999. [1] The band was signed by Flicker Records . The band currently consists of vocalist Dawn Michele, Glenn and Wendy Drennen, guitarist and bassist respectively, and guitarist Justin Cox (who left in 2013 but rejoined in 2019).
On February 2, 2010 until the release of the album, Fireflight posted their lead track, "For Those Who Wait", for free to download on Amiestreet. [3] For Those Who Wait was released on February 9, 2010. It peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart, [4] No. 16 Alternative Albums [5] and No. 96 on the Billboard 200. [6]
