The Hilltopper Sports Network is the regional sports radio network for the Western Kentucky University's Hilltoppers and Lady Toppers. Headquartered in Bowling Green, Kentucky, the network provides coverage of WKU's athletic teams football, men's and women's basketball. Some select affiliates also clears WKU Men's Baseball games.
The men's swimming program was founded by Bill Powell in 1969. [9] He served as the head coach for 36 seasons and retired in 2005. [9] During his tenure, the program recorded 35 consecutive winning seasons, with Powell's first season being his only with a losing record. [9] The program under Powell also recorded seven undefeated seasons. [9]
