In the early 1980s, my family was living in Greencastle, Indiana. For several years, I recall taking the family (wife and 2 young daughters and family dog) to the apple orchard at the Putnamville Prison Farm. The orchard was on the north side of Indiana 40, across from the main prison entrance.
