Tl legacy was the original cracked launcher but tlauncher stole it and now it got popular. My main reason to delete it was, it was not showing my skin in newer version , 2nd it had a spyware. After I installed the Tl legacy tha background wasn't filled with any advertisement just sky. I liked it very much 👍🏽 what's your opinion though
The current TL is, very likely, a spyware. The original one, that (I think) later was called TL Legacy, and later Legacy Launcher (due to legal problems with the ones who got it from them and are currently using it to spread spyware, because they wante to be the only ones with the name TLauncher/TL) isn't supposed to be. They are even open code.

Then switched to T-Legacy (i heard that it was the actual original T Launcher, but later they changed the name to what it is now). T legacy worked well for me And the T launcher we have now is a different thing (accused of being a spyware)
There are sadly some bugs with the new launcher which prevent players from playing. Therefor I wanted to create this post to provide steps to download and use the old launcher. I downloaded the Legacy Games Launcher on Steam Deck and it does not seem to be working. My games are not installing on my steam deck due to a connection issue. Does anyone know how to fix the problem? Also, does Big Fish Games work on the steam deck?
It seems like they have ended support for the legacy launcher and thus you are unable to use it. If you want an alternative launcher to the official one, I can recommend PolyMC. It's an actively maintained fork of the popular MultiMC and lots of people use.

Minecraft runs in a Mojang custom JVM optimised for Minecraft, which gets installed automatically, so you don't even need to manually install Java to use MC with the new launcher
Either way, there likely will be a couple of days (or maybe even a week or two) where folk wont be able login on retro launchers as launcher maintainers update their login code. TL;DR: Short term, it will be annoying while launchers update, but long term it will make no difference to how current launchers work honestly.
