Frederic Ogden Nash (August 19, 1902 – May 19, 1971) was an American poet well known for his light verse, of which he wrote more than 500 pieces. With his unconventional rhyming schemes , he was declared by The New York Times to be the country's best-known producer of humorous poetry.

The church is located at the northwest corner of Woodman Road and River Road (Maine State Route 112), just north of River Road's junction with United States Route 202. Oriented to face the southeast, it is a single-story wood frame structure, with a gabled roof, clapboard siding, and a granite foundation.

Union Church is a historic church on United States Route 302 in Naples, Maine. Built in 1857, it is an excellent local example of Greek Revival architecture with Gothic features. Built for use by three different church groups, it now serves as a summer church and community hall. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994. [1]
