Suresh Hariram Advani (born August 1, 1947) is an oncologist who pioneered hematopoietic stem cell transplantation in India.Struck by poliomyelitis at the age of 8, he studied at Grant Medical College, Mumbai, where he obtained his MBBS and MD degrees.
