John Anthony Sadler, 42, of Waterloo, died unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, March 28, 2024. He was born May 1, 1981, in Waterloo, son of Michael L. and Mary J. (Shock) Sadler. He graduated from Waterloo East High School in 1999 and went on to obtain a CDL from Hawkeye Community College.
Our History. In 1928, Carroll P. Locke came to Waterloo where he worked for other funeral homes. In 1945 he and his wife Margaret purchased Petersen Brothers Funeral Home and renamed it Locke Funeral Services. Both devoted their time and energy to the funeral home until their deaths.

Memorial Services: 12:00 pm Friday, June 2, 2023, at Locke at Tower Park, 4140 Kimball Avenue, Waterloo, with visitation starting at 10:00 am until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital in her name. Locke at Tower Park, 319-233-3146, is assisting the family.
