The original surface overlying the Richat Structure has been destroyed by erosion over many millions of years. Any crater, volcanic or otherwise, was destroyed by erosion long ago. I would not be surprise if the rocks exposed at the surface now were a kilometer more or so below the surface at the time the Richat Structure was formed.
