In Ohio, community schools (charter schools) serve as their own independent school districts. School districts may combine resources to form a fourth type of school district, the joint vocational school district, which focuses on a technical based curriculum. [1] There are currently 611 individual school districts in Ohio.
The district has seven schools including four elementary schools housing kindergarten through fifth grade with preschool housed at one elementary school; Stanton Middle School for grades 6–8; and Theodore Roosevelt High School, which houses grades 9–12. The superintendent is Tom Larkin, who began his tenure August 1, 2023.
However, the state is still lagging well behind pre-pandemic levels of the math benchmarks, with just 55.9% of students proficient in algebra, down from 61.1% in 2018-2019.

Bolton is an unincorporated area and census-designated place (CDP) in Stark County, Ohio, United States. It was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census. [2] The CDP is in northeastern Stark County, in central Lexington Township. It is bordered to the south by the city of Alliance.
