The 2025 season was the seventh season for the Bangladesh Premier League franchise, Durbar Rajshahi. They last participated in the 2019-20 season as Rajshahi Royals and became the champion, beating Khulna Tigers in the final. [1] [2] In 2024, the team was acquired by Valentine Group and re-named.
Chittagong started their season with a 37 run loss against Khulna Tigers. But after that, they came back strongly and finished the league stage being 2nd in the points table. However, they lost the Qualifier 1 to Fortune Barishal by 9 wickets but defeated Khulna Tigers by 2 wickets in the Qualifier 2 and proceeded to the Final.
Fortune Barishal performed well throughout the league stage of BPL 2025 lossing just 3 of their 12 games and finished the league stage as the table topper.
