Approved i-130 for parents. Hi all, So I applied for my mother in October 2022 and father in March 2023 and lo and behold they both got approved on December 20th this year. Applied for my dad separately as he didn't seem to want it earlier but a the conditions of the country deteriorated further we decided to give it a shot unbeknownst to him.
Training_Pause9912. • 1 yr. ago. My petition date for the I130 was Dec 2022. Processing time went from 4 months, to 3 months, to 2 months, and then jumped up to 8 months last week. I was approved this past weekend. My friend who applied well before me had her case updated to 2 months, and still isn’t approved.
The visa bulletin, published monthly, lists available immigrant visas by priority date. USCIS uses the visa bulletin to determine the current visa categories and priority dates before processing a Form I-130 preference petition. Like maybe two days it switch to 5 months so maybe for some on first of the month or maybe holidays. Mine appeared about 4 months ago, said 4 months. Would update sporadically, to 3 months then to 2 months, then it was 4 weeks two weeks ago and now it is at 2 weeks. Hoping it is accurate.
