Chrysler 300c-winter driving. Hello! I am from Moscow, Russia. And I plan to buy a 3 year old 300c from the USA. Could you please inform me about the way it is driven in winter, because in Russia the winter lasts for abour 6 months. Is it necessary to obtain only a AWD 300c, or RWD will be enought, if special winter tires are set.
The "global RWD platform" that GM's Holden models use for their larger sedans would make sense for a popularly price RWD deVille Cadillac. This would not be the best platform for a serious V-series deVille though. The best platform for a V-series deVille would be the sigma platform.
As for handling on the level, the TC does very well in starting, stopping, and driving on compact snow. I understand that this is an agrument that I will lose as soon as the host comments but why not a Volvo s60 which was just updated, and has been marketed as a competitor to the cars on the right.
Most sedans are too low to the ground and most SUV's too high. PT Cruiser, Toyota ECHO, Toyota Prius are 3 sedans with excellent height and wide opening doors for "less-agile" people. The RAV-4, CR-V, and some other "Cross-Over" vehicles are next best while most minivans are also a viable choice.
